Classroom Teachers regularly receive Professional Development and Coaching, however, School and District Administrators often must figure out how to be successful in their positions on their own. Most Administrators eventually figure things out and become adequate leaders. Yet that effectiveness can sometimes come only after years of mistakes and unsuccessful attempts.

We know that you, as District and Organizational Leaders, understand that high achieving Schools and Districts come about only if Site-based Leadership is Solid, Entrusted, Empowered, and Effective.

We often promote our best Teachers to leadership positions because we know them to be excellent in the classroom. Subconsciously, we hope/assume that their skills and talents will translate into leadership that will inspire and train other Teachers to become like them.

However, it is very common for excelling Teachers to feel like failures as leaders because they simply have not mastered the skills required for that role to the same extent they had done when in the classroom.

Educators can be shown the What, Why, and How of effective School Administration. Yet, with the pressures and responsibilities placed on District and Organizational Leaders, specifically dedicated training of the Site Administrators is often one aspect of running the District that receives less attention than it needs.

We have Consultants that are skilled at developing Site-based Leadership into competent and highly valuable Educational Leaders. Since every School is unique, even within the same District, Leaders are most successfully trained one-on-one. However, Fundamentals of School Leadership can also be taught to groups of Administrators. We can develop the Individual Leader while guiding them to flourish at leading their school, at this time, with the people and resources they have available now.

Administrative Coaching is included in the Full District or Individual School Turnaround package. However, if your Administrators would benefit from some Coaching, but you are not participating in the Full District or Individual School Turnaround service, we are still eager to assist.
